Actor Salman Khan speaks about his upcoming release 'Hello' By SalmanKhanRockstar Salman comes clean on 'Hello' After his last release's dismal performance at the box office, actor Salman Khan is certainly looking forward to this Friday's release 'Hello'. But having been missing in attendance from the movie's promotional events, the actor got just a little bit defensive. His much publicised film 'Hello' is all set to release this week and Salman's absence from the promotions may have raised many eyebrows, but the actor seems to have his valid reasons in place. He said, "I don't believe in unnecessary promotions. My job is publicising the film on the merit of the film. I can't con my audiences and I can't con my fans. From the promos itself, the fans get to know if the film is a big hit or not or whether they want to see a film like this or not. As simple as that." And while Salman is seen grooving to some chartbusting numbers in the film, the actor candidly maintains that dancing has never been an easy affair for him. He said, "Dancing doesn't come easy for me. The kids today are grown up with this. The whole R&B hip-hop culture is different. We have grown up on disco dancing and total filmy struggling days." So, when he was asked about his favourite song for the film, Salman got singing 'Bang Bang...' With Salman's fate having plummeted with 'God Tussi Great Ho', his fans would hope that 'Hello' will bring him that elusive box office much awaited hit. I have a guest appearance in 'Hello': Salman (interview) By SalmanKhanRockstar The latest offering from Bollywood this Friday 'Hello' is selling itself as a Salman Khan movie. But, that's not entirely true because Salman apparently makes a mere guest appearance in the film. TIMES NOW's Simrat Ghuman caught up with Khan himself to find out what he feels about the movie. Simrat: Is 'Hello' a Salman Khan film as it is being potrayed, what makes you so irresistable? Salman: I don't know that. My fans will be in a better position to tell the same. I have done a few scenes. It is a guest appearance and there is a really nice song in the film 'Bang Bang Bang'. Also I have done a promotional song for the film 'Hello' the title track. It is a really nice film. It is different in the sense, it has the same emotions and everything else. It is about four couples and their story in one night. Simrat: What next after 'Hello' for Salman Khan? Salman: 'Hello' gets released now. After that comes 'Heroes' in which I have another guest appearance. After that will come 'Yuvraj','Wanted'and 'Main aur Mrs Khanna'. So the line-up is good. I love nice, simple girls; says Salman Khan (exclusive short interview with salman singing bang bang) By SalmanKhanRockstar Mumbai: Salman Khan always prefers to take a back seat when it comes to the marketing front of his movies and was also missing from all the promotional rounds of his new film Hello. CNN-IBN caught up with the actor to ask about his new movie and his relation with Katrina Kaif. Salman Khan says hello to his fans this Friday as Atul Agnihotri directed Hello hits theatres. Though his co-stars Sohail Khan, Sharman Joshi, Amrita Arora and Gul Panag have been busy promoting the film through the week, Salman has preferred to take a back seat on the marketing front. "My job is acting. People, fans know what to expect from a film, they will go and see it. I dont believe in promoting a film, says Salman. Apart from films the actor's love life has kept Salman in the news. After all the rumours of a split with Katrina have died down, Bollywood's chronic bachelor insists that it's Katrina's simplicity that keeps him tied to her. I love simple girls. Nice, simple, straight. I dont like women who manipulate and scheme, says the actor. VO3: "Hello" sees Salman dance shirtless once again to a popular track titled Bang Bang and at 43 he seems to be doing a good job of it. We have grown up on disco dancing and those typical filmi struggling days so it is very difficult to adapt that body language but we have tried, adds Salman. In 2008 Salmans fans will also get to see him in Subhash Ghai's musical flick Yuvvraaj with Katrina Kaif but for the moment the songs of Hello are on the top of Sallu's playlist.
