The only way they can cope with the damage done to their minds is to become war machines. Their inner appearance is referred to as "Beauty", while their outer appearance is referred to as "Beast". Combat range refers to an aircraft's range with near maximum payload without the use of external fuel tanks. For example, the combat range of Su-30MKI, the Indian variant of Su-30, is 3,000 kms on internal fuel and about 5,000 kms using external fuel tanks. F-15's range using internal fuel capacity is about 2,000 kms and exceeds 3,500 kms on external fuel. Even then, with the help of aerial refueling, combat range of fighter jets can be greatly extended. So, lower combat range should not be considered a major factor here. There are no official figures on F-22 Raptor's max speed and T/W. Various unofficial sources list F-22's T/W ratio in the range of 1.08 to 1.30. The speed mentioned here is a speculated one too. Also the data for combat range of the F-22 w/o the use of external fuel tanks is not available.
