Avance estadios mundial femenino Sub 20 Chile By nWoHiTmEn316 CREDITOS:TERRA.CL Es un ambicioso plan de infraestructura para dotar a todo Chile de recintos dignos para la práctica de distintas disciplinas deportivas" que implica una inversión de cerca de 100 millones de dólares, explicó la Presidenta. Esto también incluye la remodelación del Estadio Nacional y la construcción de una completa red de estadios. La Presidenta Michelle Bachelet presentó hoy las obras de construcción de los estadios de Coquimbo, La Florida, Chillán y Temuco, que serán sede del Mundial Femenino Sub 20, que se realizará en nuestro país del 20 de noviembre al 7 de diciembre del presente año. Al respecto, señaló que "se trata de una inversión en infraestructura deportiva, tal vez la más ambiciosa de los últimos 40 años, porque son cerca de 100 millones de dólares (48 mil millones de pesos) que nos van a permitir tener centros deportivos de nivel mundial y que en conjunto albergarán a más de 60 mil espectadores en buenas condiciones". Durante su exposición, realizada en el coliseo central del Estadio Nacional, la Mandataria dijo que estos cuatros nuevos recintos tendrán estándar FIFA. Explicó que serán techados y contarán con butacas individuales y numeradas, además de pantalla gigante, marcador electrónico, camarines subterráneos, iluminación de primer nivel, servicios higiénicos apropiados y acceso para minusválidos, entre otros implementos. "Estamos hablando de recintos modernos de nivel mundial; estamos hablando de un salto histórico en la calidad de la infraestructura deportiva, porque eso es lo que se merecen los chilenos y chilenas", remarcó. En la oportunidad, la Jefa de Estado destacó que la promoción de la práctica deportiva "ha sido una prioridad desde el inicio del gobierno", y recordó que "el 21 de mayo pasado me comprometí señalando que quería llevar adelante un ambicioso plan de infraestructura que permitiera dotar a todo Chile de recintos dignos para la práctica de distintas disciplinas deportivas, tanto a nivel profesional como amateur". En este sentido, reafirmó que se realizará "la remodelación del Estadio Nacional y la construcción de una completa red de estadios y centros deportivos regionales en la perspectiva del Bicentenario" y que el modelo de trabajo de los cuatro estadios para el Mundial Femenino Sub 20, "lo aplicaremos en las 15 regiones del país". Asimismo, resaltó que en la ejecución de este plan de modernización de la infraestructura deportiva del país, "el Instituto Nacional del Deporte y la Dirección de Arquitectura del MOP, van a trabajar codo a codo con los dueños de los recintos". Agregó que para monitorear los avances "constituiremos un directorio en el que participarán los dirigentes máximos de la ANFP y el COCH, Harold Mayne-Nicholls y Neven Ilic". Bachelet recordó la frase del dirigente deportivo Carlos Dittborn, cuando en 1956 postulaba a Chile como sede del Mundial de Fútbol y señaló: "porque no tenemos nada, queremos hacerlo todo". Al respecto, sostuvo que "parafraseándolo diría: porque hoy tenemos mucho, queremos hacer mucho más todavía", porque "queremos buenos recintos, con infraestructura adecuada, que estén abiertos a la comunidad a lo largo del país". Sobre este punto, aseguró que "las cosas se están haciendo bien y las vamos a continuar haciendo bien, según el estándar FIFA, con trabajos de calidad", porque "nuestro compromiso es que esté todo listo para servir de sede del Mundial Femenino Sub 20". Las capacidades consideradas en los cuatro estadios son de 18 mil asistentes para los de Coquimbo y Temuco, mientras que para La Florida y Chillán se contemplan 12 mil personas en cada uno. La fecha de entrega de los nuevos recintos deportivos es el 30 de septiembre, de acuerdo al plazo impuesto por la FIFA. La actividad se realizó en el Estadio Nacional, donde asistieron los ministros Secretario General de Gobierno, Francisco Vidal, y de Obras Públicas, Sergio Bitar; el subsecretario de Deportes, Jaime Pizarro; los alcaldes de las cuatro comunas sede del Mundial; los presidentes de la Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP), Harold Mayne-Nicholls y del Comité Olímpico de Chile (COCH), Neven Ilic, y las jugadoras de la selección nacional Sub 20.
