Vane Pump ( Phun ) By DeltaWound My first proper Phun model. :D Took me a while to work out the bugs, but it works now. Too bad the water isn't better: A lot of it escapes in the cracks of the vane housings and leaks into the rotor. Using small, frictionless circles works better than water, actually. The program starts to have problems when it has to render that many objects, though. EDIT: Upon request, here is the .phn file. EDIT2: Is broken now...:/ EDIT3: WTF now it works again? The Bermuda Triangle By jonthedoors I was flying from Aberdeen to Miami, when I managed to pass through the imfamous Bermuda triangle, and this happened! I was flying through it at anout 18,500ft when suddenly my left engine failed, too! I managed to get it started again, after some erractic flying, and some freaky events. Enjoy. Quad Q6600 Gaming on Vista - Flight Simulator X By GreenAndPleasantLand PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING A QUESTION:) I get lots of emails and questions posted about the ground operations shown here. So to save everyone asking the same questions over and over here are some of the most popular questions answered. Some of the answers have come from feedback on this thread so thanks to everyone for helping out. 1. How do i get a push back with a turn? ---- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNCPaQ... 2. How do i move the jetway to the door? ---- Press CTRL+J 3. The Jetway isn't moving to the door, why? ---- Make sure your front wheel is parked somewhere between the front two sets of yellow markers. 4. Grrr..The Jetway STILL isn't moving to the door!! ---- Watch the other aircraft(traffic) parked at the gates. Do you see their jetways moving? Tip: Goto options and put traffic to at least 50%. Start at any airport at a gate. Switch to overhead view of the airport. Put the sim rate to x4. Now watch to see if any jetways move for the airport traffic. If you see the jetway moving for the aircraft in Gate 20, reload at gate 20 and try it. 5. My jetways are missing, why? ---- Scenery and Autogen need to be set to at least 'Dense'. Also, You need to enable 'advanced animations' tick box in FSX settings to see the jetways. If you don't have that option then you need to upgrade your graphics card. 6. Are there movable Jetways in 2004 (fs9)? ---- No. There are a few airport add-ons that will add them but i've never tried them. 7. How do i open the cargo and baggage doors? ---- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anV6Pq... 8. Where do you get all those planes like BA and Virgin? ---- Those are AI traffic add-on and replace FSX default traffic. There are several of these you can buy or download for free. I am using MyTrafficX which cost around £15 by direct download. http://secure.simmarket.com/product_i... You can install plenty of free AI from http://www.avsim.com. Just sign up and browse their file library. The KLM comes from FSXAdventures KLM Misson Pack. It's payware http://secure.simmarket.com/product_i... 9. How do you start at the gate/terminal and not on the runway? ---- When you choose your airport you are given the option to select a gate, ramp, parking or active runway. By default it's set to active runway. Just change that from the dropdown menu when you are selecting your airport. 10. How do you get those buttons at the top for the checklists. ---- Those buttons are from add-on called FS2Crew. It's basically an invisble co pilot. Those buttons activate him to carry out the commands for starting the 747 from cold, and for me to activate the checklists etc. The version i am using is the Default FSX 747 Edition http://www.fs2crew.com Thanks for all the comments and votes. Real Boeing 747 Flight Simulator By adiblasi http://www.Alfred.TV READ ME FIRST: Upon attending a fund raiser for a school, I won the bid for an hour in a professional flight simulator. The joke here is that the people that go to this facility are ALL professional pilots who are getting cross-trained on different planes or re-certified. And here I am, basically walking in 'off the street', and sitting at the control console of a Boeing 747. It was an absolute incredible experience. I really have a lot of respect for commercial airline pilots, since there are many activities going on in the cockpit at the same time! I'm glad I brought the video camera, so I can share a few minutes of this exciting adventure with you all. Enjoy! Flight Simulator X - Airbus A380 - Toulouse to New Delhi By kevincaz07 Airbus A380 flight from Blagnac (Toulouse, France) to Indira Gandhi International (New Delhi, India). This was a real flight on May 6, 2007. The paint was house colors and this is Myanmar colors, but I couldn't find the house colors so I picked the closest thing to it. It took me all night to reach India because of the time difference. I reached cruising altitude at 3:01 and began my descent at 5:41. And yes, I know the cockpit is of a 747... but like I say in my comments, "Might as well use a cockpit designed by the makers of the game... not Cindy Lu Hu from down the street," lol. The music is "Radioactivity" by Kraftwerk. Manual landing. Enjoy!
