Rita Pavone - Fortissimo By gusyverdechannel Rita Pavone (born August 23, 1945) is an Italian ballad and rock singer who enjoyed success through the 1960s. Pavone is also an actress. In 1968 Pavone married in Switzerland her talent scout and organizer of the first song contest she won, the also well known Italian singer Teddy Reno. This event caused a scandal in the Italian society of the time because Teddy Reno (whose real name is Ferruccio Ricordi) was still married to his first wife, Ms. Livia Protti, and in Italy there was no divorce law until 1970. They re-married each other in Italy in 1971. Later on during the 1980s she would participate in comedy films, such as 2 sul pianerottolo, Risate in salotto and Santarellina. In 1992, Pavone returned to the United States, where she sang during a multiple artists concert that included Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, the Bolshoi Ballet and Cher at the Sands hotel in Atlantic City. She then turned to acting in theater, participating in a William Shakespeare play. In 2002, Pavone had a concert at Miami's Dade Auditorium. Pavone and her husband Reno now live in Ticino, Switzerland. They have two sons, Alessandro and Giorgio, both of whom have become involved in show business themselves, Alessandro as a radio show host and Giorgio as a rock singer. Rita Pavone was a Senate candidate in the Italian general election of 2006. She participated as candidate for Per l'Italia nel Mondo (For Italy in the World), a centre-right list, led by minister Mirko Tremaglia, which is present only in the foreign constituencies. Jimmy Fontana - Il Mondo (live) By gusyverdechannel Jimmy Fontana es el nombre artístico de Enrico Sbriccoli (Camerino, Italia 13 de noviembre de 1934), cantante y actor italiano que conoció su momento de mayor popularidad en los años 60. Trayectoria artística En 1961 participa en el Festival de Sanremo en dúo con Miranda Martino cantando el tema Lady luna, compuesto por el maestro Armando Trovajoli y Dino Verde. Su primer éxito fue Non te ne andare (1963), y poco más tarde su internacional Il mondo (1965), canción que ha conocido múltiples versiones en voces de otras artistas. Él mismo grabó en su voz las versiones en español (El mundo) y en catalán (El món). Fue grabada en un EP en catalán en 1965 junto a tres canciones más de Gianni Morandi, Rita Pavone y Donatella Moretti.[1]. También Los Mustang grabaron una versión en español de Il mondo. La mia serenata es el disco del verano en Italia en 1967, y en el Cantagiro de 1969 presenta La nostra favola, versión de la canción de Tom Jones de título original Delilah. En 1970 consigue un nuevo éxito con L'amore non è bello (se non è litigarello), sintonía del programa televisivo "Signore e signora", con Delia Scala y Lando Buzzanca. Después de un período de alejamiento de los éxitos en los años 70, vuelve en 1979 con Identikit, sintonía de la serie televisiva "Gli invincibili", que obtiene un discreto éxito, confirmado con Beguine, que es prsentada al Festival de Sanremo de 1982. En los años posteriores forma el grupo los "Superquattro", junto a Gianni Meccia, Nico Fidenco y Riccardo Del Turco, con los que participa en muchos programas de la televisión italiana. Fontana es autor de numerosas canciones, en pareja a dúo con Gianni Meccia, para su voz y para las de otros artistas: el tema más famoso es Che sarà, que popularizó José Feliciano y el grupo Ricchi e Poveri en el Festival di Sanremo de 1971.
